KAX Group is extending its suite of integrated hardware solutions by teaming up with PAEONIA Innovations with their Novel Mid-IR Spectrometer. Coming in at a form factor of just 5 × 5.5 × 6 cm, this emerging technology opens up new opportunities in materials characterisation and process monitoring that were not physically possible before. PAEONIA Innovations leverage their in-house semiconductor and AI expertise to repeatedly and accurately produce data of high signal to noise and quality.
With zero moving components, the robust package has a wavelength range of 900 – 3500 cm-1, a response time of 0.3 s and USB-C power and connectivity and is uniquely suited to inline process monitoring where other solutions were too bulky, slow or did not cover a flexible spectral range. The flow through setup has multiple interface materials (SS316L, FFKM, Si, Ge, Au) and pathlengths (20, 100, 200 μm) and a built in function for residence time distribution and live concentration measurements with an auto test function for the signal to noise ratio.
KAX Group’s Managing Direktor, Brad Swarbrick will be visiting the CEO of PAEONIA Innovations Lennon Lee in Singapore throughout September to discuss the integration of the Novel Mid-IR spectrometer with KAX Group’s Multivariate Data Analysis and Process Monitoring and Control solutions.
